I’ve been an artist and dancer since I was very young. I was fortunate to find the Alexander Technique when I was suffering from dance injuries after over-training in college, and later for anxiety around performing as a singer. I experienced first-hand its transformational power in addressing not only physical, but also emotional and mental issues. I was thrilled! I even moved to another city in order to continue studying, and received my certification as an Alexander Professor from the School of Alexander Technique, Mexico (ETAM) which is recognized by STAT.
I LOVE seeing how much people transform through the Alexander Technique! It’s a joy and a privilege to help empower students, to assist them in increasing their awareness of long-held physical and emotional patterns that may no longer be serving them. Studying with Penelope Easten deepened my understanding of anatomy and opened the possibility of working online.
